According to analysts at Wedbush Securities, Take-Two Interactive's guidance for their FY25 financial report suggested that GTA 6 will be unlikely to launch within the previously anticipated early April 2025 window.

In a research note titled "$7 Billion Means No GTA in FY:25," analysts Nick McKay and Michael Pachter highlighted Take-Two's reduced profit projections for the fiscal year 2024-2025 (FY25) and observed that the projected revenue of just over $7 billion for the upcoming year is "significantly lower" than the initial estimates provided by the company in May and November.

As picked up by VGC, the analysts concluded that GTA 6 has likely shifted out of the FY25 timeline based on Take-Two's revision. While there is no indication that the game won't launch in 2025, the analysts speculated that the game could potentially launch later in the year than previously anticipated.

GTA developer Rockstar Games revealed the first official trailer for GTA 6 last December. The controversial trailer amassed over 12M views within 4 days of its release. The game will launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S and will take place in the fictional Florida-based setting, Vice City.

The game follows protagonist Lucia and her partner as they vie for control over their crime-filled city. Check out our article at the link below to learn more about GTA 6.
