Pokemon Center Hiroshima Moving to a New Location
Also Announces Gyarados-Themed Playground
Pokemon Center Hiroshima is closing by the end of March and will relocate and reopen around April 2025. On the other hand, the nearby Gyarados Plaza launches in March, as announced on the store’s website.
The store will move to the "second floor of Ekie, the north exit of Hiroshima Station, around April 2025!" Originally built in June 2015, Pokemon Center Hiroshima is located on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building, beside the RIHGA Royal Hotel and in front of the Hiroshima Prefectural Office.
Meanwhile, the "Gyarados Plaza by Pokemon Center Hiroshima" is set to open at Soramoa Plaza’s rooftop, which is on the new Hiroshima Station building called Minamoa. The Pokemon website described this special place as "a plaza where people of all ages can spend time with Pokemon in their own way, including large play equipment modeled after Gyarados, the symbolic Pokemon of Pokemon Center Hiroshima."
The Gyarados Plaza will open on March 24, 2025. For a temporary period after its launch, visitors are required to advance their reservations to use the playground equipment. Further details will be announced on the official Minamoa website.
If you happen to visit Hiroshima, the store is open from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm.
