Most importantly, this will be the first live demonstration of the game, which will give fans a glimpse of the game’s new features and possibly some story elements. The event also marks the first stop for DS2’s World Strand Tour 2.
Death Stranding World Strand Tour 2

Last month, Kojima Productions revealed the dates and locations for their World Strand Tour 2 on their website. The tour will visit 12 locations across the globe and will run from June 8 until November. Here is the list of tour dates and locations:
● 8th June - Los Angeles
● 14th June - Sydney
● 26th June - Tokyo
● 28th June - Paris
● 30th June - London
● 4th July - Seoul
● 6th July - Taipei
● 9th July - Hong Kong
● 12th July - Shanghai

● November - Lucca
The studio previously held a world tour for Death Stranding, which saw Kojima and cast members such as Norman Reedus and Troy Baker travel to various cities around the world to promote the game. According to Kojima Productions, the World Strand Tour 2 will also include special guests and events at each location. Additional details regarding each stop will be shared soon.
ESRB Rating Revealed

In other news, DS2’s official ESRB rating appeared online earlier this month. To no one’s surprise, the post-apocalyptic action-adventure sequel is rated "Mature 17+ (M)", much like the series’ first game. Based on ESRB’s rating system, it will include blood and gore, partial nudity, strong language, and violence.
The rating summary reads, "Along the way, players can engage in combat against human soldiers, battle androids, and ghostly apparitions. Players use melee weapons (e.g., battle guitar) and firearms (e.g., machine guns, sniper rifles) to kill enemies. Players also employ stealth takedowns to incapacitate soldiers discreetly. Battles are sometimes frenetic, accompanied by realistic gunfire, blood-splatter, and slow-motion effects."
Moreover, the game will also have depictions of brutal acts of violence and gore, such as a "man's hands and legs sliced off by a robotic samurai; a man set on fire in a fantastical manner; a man cut in half by a giant machine." They also noted that the word "f**k" is heard in the game.

This rating summary is virtually a similar description and reasoning that the North American rating board gave for Death Stranding and Death Stranding: Director’s Cut. Fans expect the game to have the same themes and violence, and may even contain more, as Death Stranding 2 will have more locations and deeper story cuts to explore.
Kojima Productions continues to double its efforts to promote its upcoming title, and these upcoming events will give fans more things to look forward to. Its recent announcement of adding Hololive VTuber Pekora as a Prepper expands the game’s reach and opens up possibly more unusual cameos.
