The newly unveiled key visual, created by the renowned artist lack, showcases the character design of AMEDAMA’s protagonists Yushin and Yui. Lack, known for his work on popular Japanese mobile game Fate/Grand Order and the collectible card browser video game Touken Ranbu, brings his unique touch to the game's aesthetics.

His character design credits include Okada Izou and Sétanta in Fate/Grand Order, as well as Sétanta in Fate/Grand Order Arcade. On the other hand, Yuko Komiyama of the Monster Hunter series created the game’s somber, yet stirring soundtrack.

AMEDAMA revolves around Yushin and his sister, Yui, who manage a local umbrella shop. A tragic incident unfolds one rainy evening when their shop is invaded by a group of men, resulting in Yushin's untimely death in front of Yui. However, in a surprising twist of fate, Yushin's journey does not end with his demise.

Set in the last years of the Edo period, AMEDAMA weaves a tale that combines elements of rain and reincarnation. Yushin possesses a unique ability to inhabit different bodies. As a disembodied soul, he embarks on a quest to locate his sister and uncover the truth behind her mysterious disappearance.

Players will have seven days to accomplish this mission, as Yushin's soul is at risk of fading away permanently. The game promises an immersive experience with its compelling narrative, innovative gameplay mechanics, and beautifully rendered 2D visuals.
