Monster Hunter Wilds Gearing Up Towards Title Update 1
Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase on March 25
Capcom will have its first Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase which will give players more information on what’s to come in the game. Monster Hunter Wilds (MH Wilds) posted on its official Twitter (X) account on March 21 that the showcase will be livestreamed on Twitch on March 25 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET / 2 PM GMT.
The livestream will be hosted by MH Wilds Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, where he will be detailing the first Free Title Update coming in early April. Alongside the announcement was a teaser trailer which showed clips of the new monster coming to the game. This update will see the return of the bubble fox leviathan Mizutsune, which was first introduced in Monster Hunter Generations.
MH Wilds also previously revealed a Free Title Update roadmap on February 13 that indicated a second free title update coming in the Summer which will introduce players to another monster that is yet to be announced. The roadmap also mentioned a "to be continued" quote, pointing towards possible free updates coming to the game in the future. Title Update 1 Information
Other than Mizutsune, Title Update 1 (TU1) will bring more features and updates to MH Wilds. Capcom previously posted on Steam on February 27 regarding new information for their plans on TU1.
According to the post, the update will present a new level of challenge, which will introduce a new monster that is above the level of Tempered monsters, which are powerful versions of high-rank monsters. It also stated another monster will await players, which is unclear whether this may be a reference to Mizutsune or a different monster altogether.
Additionally, TU1 will give players "A new place to meet, communicate, have meals together and more with other hunters." This area will be available for players who have completed the main story. For more information regarding Title Update 1, check out our article below!
3 New Event Quests
MH Wilds is currently holding three event quests namely Ballet in the Rain, Sand-Scarred Soul, and Like a Fire Hidden by Sand, which all began on March 18. Players can farm decorations and headgear in these event quests.
Hunters can hunt a Lala Barina on the Ballet in the Rain event quest to get the Glowing Orb - Sword, which ends on March 25. On the other hand, players must fight a Doshaguma on the Sand-Scarred Soul event quest to obtain a Glowing Orb - Armor, which also ends on March 25.
Lastly, players will need to face the Rathian on the Like a Fire Hidden by Sand event quest to obtain Expedition Headgear α Materials, which will be available until April 1. For more information about event quests on MH Wilds, check out our article below!
