⚫︎ SAG-AFTRA issued a "Do Not Work Order" against Mega Man: Dual Override, barring union members from working on the project after the producer failed to initiate the union signatory process.
⚫︎ Capcom has narrowed down more than 10,000 entries to six finalists for the Mega Man: Dual Override Robot Master design contest. The remaining designs will now be reviewed by the development team to determine the one winner that will appear in the 2027 game.

Developed and published by Capcom, the game is the twelfth mainline entry in the classic Mega Man series. It continues the long-running franchise that began in 1987 and follows Mega Man as he battles robots across futuristic environments. This is the franchise's return to a new original installment after several years focused on collections and spinoffs.
