Tower of Fantasy Gameplay
Tower of Fantasy is a third-person action RPG that incorporates MMO elements in a shared open world. Players can play solo and explore the world of Aida, uncovering its secrets and growing in power as they defeat enemies, or face challenges with friends in cooperative dungeons and boss raids.
Combat is weapon-centric, as players can switch between three different weapons in the middle of combat to execute satisfying combos and make use of elemental advantages. Not only is the game focused on offense, but defense plays a large part in combat as well, as players can trigger a slow-motion effect called Phantasia by perfectly timing dodges, thus opening enemies up to powerful counterattacks.
The game also features gacha mechanics, letting players acquire Simulacra, which are characters tied to exclusive weapons that provide unique abilities and powers.
Tower of Fantasy Story Plot
In the distant future, humanity has left Earth and has found a new home on the alien planet of Aida. On Aida, the Tower of Fantasy has been constructed to collect a powerful but dangerous new energy source called Omnium from the comet Mara.
Players take on the role of the Wanderer, an amnesiac caught in the middle of a power struggle on the planet. As players progress, they will uncover the dangers of Omnium, its effect on the planet, and the motivations that drive the different factions vying for power and influence on Aida.
