Still Wakes the Deep Story Plot
Set in 1975, you’re a worker stationed at the Beira D oil rig in the middle of the North Sea off the coast of Scotland when a severe storm passes. The storm, unlike any you’ve ever seen, has served all communications lines and has made it impossible to call for help or reach the mainland for safety. You must instead let the storm pass from within the Beira D– but wait, something’s wrong.
Something has come onboard, and is wreaking havoc across the station. Crew missing, broken pathways, flooded rooms, everything is in chaos. You must do everything you can do to survive, as your family is at home desperately waiting for you.
Still Wakes the Deep Gameplay
Still Wakes the Deep is a first-person horror narrative story where you must venture through a complex oil rig to survive. You must carefully navigate the twists and turns of the entire structure with whatever means you have, whether you have break open locks to open up new passageways, or balance yourself between thin beams and risk plugging into a watery grave, or swim beneath a maze of sewage pipes to escape a rampaging monster.
The game promises to have a gripping narrative-horror experience that will have players at the edge of their seats.

The release date is another ominous supercut of the unnerving insides of the Oil Rig, accompanied with a reading of a letter seemingly addressed to the player, pleading for them to come home and survive the ravaging ordeal.
Gameplay Reveal Trailer
The gameplay reveal trailer consists of two short playthroughs of a section in the game where you must travel through perilous hanging walkways above the raging ocean, and navigate the tight spaces of a sewage pipe system.. You must find which stable walkways to go through, unlock, and carefully balance on thin beams, swim underwater, and find safety to avoid being found by the creature whose monstrously growls and echoes throughout the halls.
