Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic Gameplay
Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic will be a narrative-driven action RPG. While the game has not had any major gameplay reveals yet, its description on Arcanaut Studios' website and its connection to the Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) series hint at it building upon the gameplay of the KOTOR games.
The KOTOR games are renowned for their computer role-playing gameplay, mixing in tabletop RPG elements with deep character customization and dialogue options that affect the overall narrative.
Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic Story Plot

Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic will follow a Force user on a journey through the Star Wars galaxy as it faces the precipice of rebirth. Lucasfilm Games head Douglas Reilly confirmed that the game is not a direct sequel to the KOTOR (Knights of the Old Republic) games, though it is being developed by "people who helped shape their legacy".
They also confirmed that the game will take place during the Old Republic Era, which was set 25,000 years before the Skywalker Saga, the timeline of the main Star Wars movies. It follows the Jedi Order's Golden Age and eventual schism, leading to the rise of the Sith.
