Slime Rancher 2 Story Plot
Slime Rancher 2 continues the adventures of Beatrix LeBeau as she embarks for Rainbow Island after a mysterious letter promises her new adventures. With only her trusty vacpack and an abandoned conservatory, Beatrix sets forth to tame an entire island’s worth of new slimes and mysteries.
Slime Rancher 2 Gameplay
Slime Rancher 2’s gameplay builds on the original game’s basic premise of sucking up slimes and resources using your vacpack. Stored slimes and gathered resources could be ejected into corrals to harvest special slime byproducts called "Plorts," which could be sold on the Plort Market for money, which, in turn, can be used to upgrade your ranch further.
However, different slimes require different types of foods, corrals, and slime neighbors, and it’ll be up to you and your ranching skills to fulfill their every need for maximum Plort production.
Just like in the first game, Rainbow Island is filled with mysteries, resources, and new biomes to discover, along with a bevy of new slime types to gather and cater to.
Slime Rancher 2 also has a major graphical update and a much larger scope wen compared to the first game, featuring a massive Conservatory area to start, sweeping landscapes, and updated models for our favorite slimes.

Slime Rancher 2 Coming to PS5 Trailer
Slime Rancher 2’s Coming to PS5 Trailer goes through much of the game’s features, including exploration, farming, and conservatory customization. It finishes off the trailer by showing a montage of the various slimes and biomes you can encounter in-game, as well as a fully decorated conservatory complete with an amusement park.
