Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi Gameplay
Netmarble has not released an in-depth look at the gameplay of Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi, but based on the two trailers available, the game will have action-adventure RPG mechanics that are often seen in many modern live service gachas. The game will take players to many locations that may be familiar to those who are already familiar with the original series, but it is unclear how large the in-game world will be.
Though information on combat is scarce, it has been confirmed that players will be able to switch between two characters any time during battle.
Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi Story Plot
Rakuro Hizutome is a young teenager who is a self-proclaimed "trash game hunter"; he enthusiastically collects and plays old or nigh-unplayable games. Having reached a point where he could say he mastered the art of playing such games, he decides to pick up a popular VR MMORPG called Shangri-La Frontier, starting off an exciting journey in which Rakuro uses his expertise as a fan of "trash games" to become a formidable player.
Players will get to experience the rich world of Shangri-La Frontier through Rakuro. It is unclear whether the story of the game will eventually deviate from the source material, but for now, it seems that Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi will follow the original story.
