Revenge of the Savage Planet is an action-adventure title set in space where there are vibrant alien planets to explore and discover. Read on to learn how it plays, what it's about, and everything else we know so far.
Revenge of the Savage Planet Gameplay
This sci-fi action-adventure title lets players explore various alien planets in solo or two-player co-op, on a mission to scan and discover all that is there to see. Using specialized Goo Guns with unique abilities, players can run, jump, shoot, grind, stomp, dodge, slide, whip, and even grapple across the terrain. They can scan everything there is to scan and catalog them into a handy-dandy file which then increases their science level, thus unlocking new upgrades and new gear to take on the more dangerous planets…and even the hidden ones.
Players can even take some of the planets’ objects and creatures home! Alien creatures can be lassoed, captured, and taken to special Pens located at the player’s home base, called the Habitat. Furthermore, they can even make a little collection in their very own Space Trailer, displaying all their valuable loot with pride from alien plants and weird rocks to more extravagant items.
Revenge of the Savage Planet Story Plot
In a future ruled by corporate greed (and stupidity), the player has been deemed as redundant and fired from their job, then being abandoned on the far edge of space with nothing but the gear on their backs. Fortunately, the strange but friendly Kindred Technologies former CEO discovers them and their predicament—it just so happens that the company is looking for a certain someone to explore all these alien planets and to know their secrets. Additionally, they might just be able to get revenge on their former employer and return to Earth if everything goes as planned.
Players set off on an exciting journey across multiple planets in the name of research and discovery, tasked to hop across four alien worlds to learn more about the galaxy…and the secrets that it hides.
