REPLACED Story Plot
Play as the advanced A.I. named R.E.A.C.H. as they’re forced to live within a human body and adjust to normal everyday life. However, in the futuristic sci-fi dystopia of Phoenix City that represents an alternate 1980’s America, nothing is never normal. Outlaws roam the streets and its society keeps taking a turn for the worse since a disastrous nuclear event. The ones in power has everything and everyone under their thumb from excessive corrupted and greed, seeing the lower classes and their organs as "nothing more than currency."
Survive the life within Phoenix city, explore its roads and alleys, and uncover its secrets.
REPLACED Gameplay
REPLACED is a heavily stylized action-platformer with astounding 2.5D graphics, blending 2D pixel art with 3D voxels. It will have deep exploration features as you venture through Phoenix City, where you’ll be met with all sorts of enemies that will force your hand in combat. One main feature to supplement its cinematic nature will be its quicktime events during cutscenes. Meanwhile, out of cutscenes, players will be able to execute all sorts of stylish but grounded moves, where the developers cite the Batman Arkham series as the combat’s main inspiration.
