Madoka Magica Magia Exedra is a turn-based party-centric RPG where players take turns unleashing powerful attacks on each other’s teams. Each team can be composed of various types of magical girls, each with their own effects, abilities, attacks, and strategic boons. A party can have up to five magical girls at a time, allowing the players ample space to strategize and come up with different compositions for different scenarios.

One of the game’s core combat mechanics has been revealed with the "Break System," which encourages strategic use of every magical girl’s element type to overwhelm enemy Break Gauges for additional effects.
