LET IT DIE: INFERNO was just announced at the State of Play | September 24, 2025! Read on to learn how it plays, what it's about, and everything else we know so far.
LET IT DIE: INFERNO Gameplay

The core gameplay loop of Let It Die: Inferno is built around PvEvP survival action. Players assume the role of an immortal explorer known as a Raider and can select from multiple characters, each equipped with unique, character-specific weapons. Combat is exclusively melee-based, with all players dual-wielding weapons. Weapon combinations within the equipment slots unlock special attacks, adding variety to combat encounters.
Exploration takes place within the Hell Gate, a large chasm that serves as the game’s primary setting. Each descent features randomized stage layouts, item placements, and enemy spawns, incorporating roguelite elements. Players must survive encounters with both monsters and other Raiders. A Hell Gate depth counter and timer are also present, though their exact functions have not yet been clarified. We can also see in the UI, there seem to be missions you can do during your runs.
In addition to the core survival gameplay, a dedicated competitive mode is available, allowing players to engage in direct PvP matches. Early previews have highlighted enemies such as the Nocent Pseudocean, as well as weapons including a spiked baseball bat and a fan-blade weapon with sharpened edges.

The objective is to be the first to claim it.
