Jump Space Gameplay
Jump Space marries co-op shooters with sci-fi action elements, going beyond on-foot gunfights and taking battles to the air and even in deep space. Battles will have players going toe-to-toe with different kinds of enemies as they fulfill different mission objectives in this dynamic PvE.
The gameplay is not limited to quick, adrenaline-fueled shootouts; success in Jump Space may mean exploring deep space and encountering enemies with ships of their own. The latest trailer has revealed that players and their teams can jump onto other ships and quickly take control of the crew and commandeer the enemy ship. This means that players will have to grapple and leap across the air, all while avoiding bullets and lasers and striking enemies before they can get to you.
In addition, the game includes extensive flying mechanics, allowing pilots to speed through space and engage in thrilling air battles with enemy ships. In order to ensure your victory, you must outfit your ships with the best weapons and learn strategic maneuvers to avoid sustaining heavy damage. If you do get hit, you can repair your ship using scavenged parts. These parts can also be repurposed for upgrades depending on your needs and playstyle.
Jump Space Story Plot
Set in the vast expanse of space, you are part of a small crew of Atiran survivors who have decided to join the Resistance to go against the Legion, an army of machines that has since taken over several worlds. On the way to your rendezvous with the Resistance, you were ambushed by a pack of Legion fighters and crash-landed on an asteroid. What you find there, however, will change the fate of not only your crew but also of the whole galaxy.
As of writing, the game only has its first chapter available in Early Access. It was revealed in their roadmap that the game will most likely have at least 3 chapters leading up to the game’s full release.
