Strinova Overview
Strinova, also known as 卡拉彼丘 (Calabiyau), originally released in China for both PC and mobile back in August 2023. Development for a global release was only announced in May 2023 during an event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which also featured an e-sports showcase of the game. The name was changed to Strinova
for the global version. Since then, the game has undergone multiple playtests, inviting players from across the world until its final release date was announced as November 21, 2024, through its social media accounts.
It is a third-person hero shooter where players take control of agents with unique playstyles, upgrades, and abilities. Each agent also uses loadouts that fit their playstyle, ranging from carrying assault rifles with machine pistols to snipers with submachine guns.

Strinova Gameplay
Strinova features third-person hero shooter gameplay using agents with unique playstyles, upgrades, and abilities. Each agent also uses loadouts that fit their playstyles, ranging from assault rifles with machine pistols to snipers with submachine guns. However, what truly sets Strinova apart from other tactical shooters is each agent's ability to compress into a 2D avatar, a process the game refers to as stringify.
This allows agents to hide, dodge bullets, attach to and run along walls, and glide through the air in ways not yet explored in other games.
During its last playtest, Strinova featured four distinct game modes: Team Arena, Escort, Demolition, and Team Deathmatch. Each mode has unique objectives, mechanics, and maps that influence which agents are most effective. The agents themselves can be customized to a certain extent, with options for costumes, weapon skins, accessories, and other cosmetics. Secondary weapons and utility items can also be modified, although an agent's primary weapon cannot be swapped for a different one.

Painting Utopia Security
The Painting Utopia Security is a key faction in Strinova, featuring five defense-focused agents dedicated to protecting Utopia. They lead the defending side in the game’s Demolition and Escort modes.
The Scissors
The Scissors are the opposing faction to Painting Utopia Security, composed of rebels focused on disrupting Utopia's status quo. They consist of offense-oriented agents who excel at capturing enemy positions, either stealthily or aggressively.
Urbino
The Urbino faction is a centrist group in Strinova, positioned between Painting Utopia Security and The Scissors. They prioritize a peaceful resolution to the conflict, offering high firepower, sustainability, and versatile utility skills. Each member performs effectively on both attacking and defending teams in objective-based modes.
