SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada is a third-person shooter published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Officially revealed in mid-2022, the game is part of a larger multimedia project, including an anime series titled SYNDUALITY Noir. Development updates have showcased the gameplay’s PvPvE elements, customization features, and the synergy between players and their AI companions.
Set in a dystopian future, the game takes place in the year 2222, following the catastrophic events caused by a phenomenon known as The Tears of the New Moon. This mysterious rain brought devastation, drastically reducing humanity’s population and giving rise to xenomorphic creatures called Enders. To survive, the remnants of humanity retreated to an underground haven while Drifters ventured to the surface to scavenge resources.
The central gameplay revolves around the collection of AO Crystals, a rare and vital resource. Players assume the role of a Drifter, tasked with exploring the hazardous surface while piloting a mecha known as the CRADLECOFFIN. Accompanied by Magus, an AI partner, players face hostile creatures, toxic rain, and the competitive threat of other Drifters.
