Ghost of Yōtei Gameplay

Ghost of Yōtei is an Action-Adventure game set in an semi-open world filled with quests and adventures. From a third-person perspective, players control Atsu, a wandering female warrior in Feudal Japan. Players complete quests, make narrative choices that affect the game, wander through Mount Yōtei, and engage in combat using different types of weaponry. As Atsu, players can wield dual katanas.

Though more has yet to be revealed about Ghost of Yōtei's combat and gameplay mechanics, it is expected to involve stealth tactics, melee combat, 1v1 standoffs with a computer-controlled enemy, and crafting mechanics.

Ghost of Yōtei Story Plot

Ghost of Yōtei follows Atsu, a female warrior adopting the persona of The Ghost. The game transports players in 1603 feudal era Japan—300 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima—where a tale of revenge and justice unfolds as Atsu combats corrupt feudal lords.

The game takes place in Mount Yōtei located in Ezo—an area outside the rule of Japan, and filled with sprawling grasslands, snowy tundras, and unexpected dangers.
