Exodus Gameplay
Exodus is a third person action-adventure RPG with mechanics typically found in most games of the same genre. Players will act as a single character, Jun Aslan, whose abilities far exceed that of normal humans. Though players will be equipped with a variety of firearms to gun down enemies and incapacitate them with melee attacks, Jun’s own capabilities will allow them to use advanced Celestial technology.
The scope of the abilities of Celestial tech remains unknown, but based on the gameplay trailer released during The Game Awards 2025, Celestial tech will add an element of platforming, allowing players to create pathways to reach otherwise inaccessible areas. Celestial tech can also be used in combat, where players can decimate entire groups of enemies.
Outside of combat, players’ interactions and relationships with characters will shape the tone and direction of the story. Their choices will matter in the grand scheme of the game, allowing them to dictate their odyssey in this grand sci-fi epic and ultimately determine the fate of the universe.
Exodus Story Plot
Exodus mainly follows Jun Aslan, born to the legendary explorer Orion Aslan and a Celestial woman named Ava. Jun starts off as a salvager who eventually. As the world around Jun begins to decay as a result of the Rot, a catastrophic phenomenon that can erode technology and devour anything it touches, he joins the ranks of the Travelers, an elite group of individuals hunting for advanced alien tech known as Remnants. The Travelers must steal the Remnants from the Celestials, a race of genetically modified beings that have long transcended the limits of humanity.
As the only human who can wield Celestial technology, Jun Aslan will be a key player in the fight against Celestials and the long struggle for humanity’s survival.
