Empyreal Gameplay
Empyreal offers a unique combination of skill-based combat and RPG mechanics. With well-timed attacks, deflects, parries, and using abilities at the perfect time, you can master the flow of battle.
Players can choose between the following weapons: The Cannon, the Mace & Shield, or the Glaive. Every weapon has a core set of moves that give it a distinct playstyle.
Discover strong new equipment, modify your stats with a comprehensive system, and perfect your build.
Numerous abilities in Empyreal offer a wide range of functions, such as delivering damage, defending or healing, granting more movement options, and other useful characteristics.
Empyreal Story Plot
In the far depths of space lies an unknown planet with a giant Monolith, built by an ancient civilization that has since been long gone. Two years ago, an Expedition commanded by scholar and former Empire military commander Morys Lovell landed on the mysterious planet, hoping to uncover the secrets that lie within its dark walls. While they were fueled by ambition and excitement, the initial excursions into the Monolith proved fruitless. The Monolith proved to be an enemy stronger than they would ever be, and most of the Expedition members perished.
The surviving members make it through for two years more, although with quickly dwindling resources and waning determination. After all, with the lack of manpower, scaling the Monolith at this rate would only send them all to early deaths. The experiments and investigations were put on hold, with no military might to shield them from the hostilities of the tower’s maze-like Quadrants and levels.
However, everything changes at the arrival of an unlikely savior: an elite mercenary. This is the story of the player and their journey to the top of the Monolith.
