EDENS ZERO Gameplay
EDENS ZERO is a third-person action RPG in which players take control of Shiki and his companions — Rebecca, Weisz, and Homura — switching between them freely throughout gameplay. The game offers extensive character customization, with over 700 types of equippable items available to aid in exploration and progression. The world of Blue Garden is fully explorable, allowing players to engage in combat, complete quests, collect cards, and build relationships.
Combat features fast-paced battles with intricate combo systems and party-based mechanics. Players can perform Finishing Attacks using Ether Gear by building up a gauge and unleashing Special Skills that deal heavy damage to nearby enemies. Timed activation of Overboost temporarily enhances attack, defense, and resistance to flinching, while also granting access to unique signature actions tailored to each character’s traits.
Both weapons and Ether Gear can be upgraded via a skill tree system, unlocking powerful new abilities as players gain experience and earn upgrade points.
Outside of combat, players can experience brand-new stories exclusive to the game and take on over 200 quests, earning a variety of rewards, including guild missions. You’ll also be able to spend quality time aboard the Interstellar Warship Edens Zero — a central hub where characters can relax, play mini-games, customize their appearances and accessories, upgrade onboard facilities, and recruit new crew members. Additionally, players can collect cards and further expand their in-game experience through exploration and interaction.
EDENS ZERO Story Plot
EDENS ZERO brings the original manga and anime to life, following the journey of Shiki, a boy raised by androids on the dreamlike planet of Granbell, also known as the Kingdom of Dreams. His encounter with video creator Rebecca and her companion Happy sets him on an interstellar adventure across space.
In addition to faithfully retelling key moments from the original story, the game also features brand-new story arcs and quests exclusive to this adaptation.
