Demonschool Story Plot

Demonschool’s overall narrative remains largely under wraps, but its characters and core premise have been officially revealed. As the title suggests, the game is set in a world where demons coexist with humanity. You’ll lead a group of friends navigating the dual challenges of school life and battling demonic threats.

The group—comprised of Faye, Destin, Namako, and Knute—each brings a unique skill set to the table, from expert demon hunting to pugilism and strategic planning, making them a formidable team against the dark forces that lurk in their world.

Demonschool Gameplay

Demonschool is a turn-based pixel art RPG presented in a 2.5D style reminiscent of games like Disgaea. The gameplay alternates between tactical combat and story-driven interactions, with battles taking place on a turn-based grid and narrative moments unfolding in dialogue screens within the game’s hub world.

In combat, player inputs are contextualized by the target of their actions—characters will move, dash, or attack based on where you click. Each turn begins with a planning phase, allowing players to experiment with different strategies by rewinding and adjusting moves for advanced tactical replayability. Once attacks are locked in, all actions are executed simultaneously, adding a dynamic layer to the battle flow.

The game rewards players for chaining combos and exploiting enemy weaknesses, typical of turn-based RPGs, allowing for massive damage and swift victories. Outside of combat, characters improve their skills through daytime studies and building relationships with 15 interactable characters, adding depth and progression to the overall experience.
