Deathbound Story Plot
Goddess Death takes revenge against her sister, Goddess Life for tricking her into creating an immortal race. Now, Goddess Death seduced the same race to relinquish immortality, and their society crumbled. The Church of Death continues to hunt down The Cult of Life, where the latter plans to fight back by using a ritual with The First Men’s technology to create immortality once again.
Deathbound Gameplay
In the unforgiving land and city of Akratya where Faith and Science clash, only fools will think that they can conquer it alone. Bind and dynamically transform into the fallen warriors that you find throughout your crusade, and explore a city rich in lore and danger.
Deathbound is a party-based soulslike where you will be able to seamlessly switch between four different characters in a singular body. With a total of seven completely different characters in terms of their fighting style, mix and match your party composition in the game’s dynamic, intense, and engaging combat system.

Overview Trailer
In the overview trailer, it shows off more of the game’s dynamic switching during combat as well as more of the different playable characters that you can choose and collect in the game. They also announced the game’s new demo that came out on Steam.

It was announced that Deathbound will simultaneously release for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S as well.
