Dear Mirror Flower Gameplay
Dear Mirror Flower follows traditional visual novel mechanics, the bulk of which emphasizes story and dialogue with opportunities for choice and interaction. As Satoree, the protagonist, players will encounter different characters, learning of their stories and respective arcs as the story unfolds around them. Players can make choices during key moments to unlock different routes that lead to their corresponding endings or epilogues.
As a Kotodama user, Satoree harnesses the power of names and words to influence reality, aiding her in her battles against Demon Spirits. With the help of Satorie, her other self, she can also read the minds of other characters.
Dear Mirror Flower Story Plot
Dear Mirror Flower takes place in a small town plagued by Demon Spirits. Born from the darkness in human hearts, these supernatural beings are largely hostile and take on many different forms. Enter Satoree Mizuki, a mysterious young woman who wakes up in the same town, only to realize that someone or something has stolen her memories away from her. She meets a girl who calls herself Satorie Mizuki and is identical to Satoree in seemingly every aspect save for her demeanor and her abilities. With Satorie as her guide, Satoree sets off on a mission to retrieve her memories and perform exorcisms on the spirits lurking in the town.
