Dave The Diver Gameplay

By day, Dave puts on his swimming gear and dives into the depths of the Blue Hole, catching fish and other sea creatures for quests, filling out his compendium, or to be turned into a delicious sushi roll. The Blue Hole is home to dozens of fish, sea creatures, and secrets that are waiting to be discovered. Dave can freely explore the Blue Hole depths, armed with harpoons, guns, and nets for catching fish, or for combat against larger boss creatures.

Sometimes, the Blue Hole crew or other characters can ask Dave for some help, sending him out with quests in exchange for rewards, such as currency to purchase upgrades, or a new feature.

By night, he is a sushi restaurant employee extraordinaire, serving customers specialty sushi dishes and refreshing drinks. Dave can serve sushi dishes, pour drinks, clean tables, or refill the wasabi container, presented through a variety of mini-games. Performing well in managing the restaurant will net gold and reputation points for the shop, which in turn also unlocks new upgrades and cosmetics.

Dave The Diver Story Plot

Dave The Diver revolves around the titular protagonist Dave, a friendly diver who is roped into helping his friend Cobra start up a sushi restaurant with a skilled sushi chef, Bancho. The trio ends up in the Blue Hole, a spot that supposedly is home to a large variety of fish from across the globe. Once setting up shop there, Dave is in charge of gathering ingredients for the restaurant during the day, while also helping out as a server at night. Everything is going well when he suddenly gets roped into a huge hidden mystery surrounding the Sea People, a race that has been inhabiting the depths of the Blue Hole for centuries. Dave is now tasked to help out the Sea People with their dilemma, and save the entire Blue Hole before it crumbles into destruction.
