Candlelight: Lament Story Plot
Candlelight: Lament tells a Lovecraftian-horror story of Ed, an aging professor who breaks curfew and embarks on a haunting adventure search for his missing granddaughter. In his travels, he will discover that the truth of her disappearance was far more dire than what he had previously thought.
Candlelight: Lament Gameplay
Candlelight: Lament is a point-and-click adventure side-scrolling game where you control your characters left to right on screen and use the mouse to interact with the environment or with NPCs.
You will have a ‘Keeper’ alongside you throughout your game, and you will have the ability to use your ‘Awake’ in order to explore hidden secrets behind seemingly ordinary things. Though official sources have yet to expand on what the ‘Keeper’ and ‘Awake’ are, we can assume that they are connected to Candlelight, the dark, and staying awake.
