Blighted Gameplay
Blighted is an isometric metroidvania game built around a challenging, fast-paced combat system and an otherworldly realm that houses surreal landscapes and creatures of horror. Players must carefully time their attacks and chain deadly combos and finishers to fight their foes. One wrong move can turn the tide of battle against them.
As they defeat more enemies and absorb their memories, players will have access to more powerful skills. By exploring the different biomes, they can also collect various power-ups and gain valuable insight into the world and the game’s storyline.
Blighted uses a dynamic difficulty system that constantly changes the enemies and the world depending on the intensity of the player’s Blight. The higher it is, the more difficult the maps and enemies they will encounter.
Blighted also features multiplayer, letting anyone team up with their friends in local or online co-op to fight in battles and explore the corrupted world together.
Blighted Story Plot
An evil figure known as Sorcisto decimated and consumed the player’s village, plunging their world into the corruption of a deadly Blight. The player, slowly succumbing to their own Blight, must fight through this new hostile land and destroy powerful bosses to recover the memories of their people before it’s too late.
