First Released on March 25, 2013
Warframe was first released on PC via Steam and its official launcher on March 25, 2013. The game later launched on PlayStation 4 on November 15, 2013, followed by the Xbox One on September 2, 2014.
It eventually expanded to the Nintendo Switch on November 20, 2018, before arriving on PlayStation 5 on November 26, 2020, and Xbox Series X|S on April 14, 2021.
Warframe later launched on iOS on February 20, 2024, and Android on February 18, 2026.

Digital Extremes announced that Warframe will be launching on the Nintendo Switch 2 on March 25, 2026, through an official news post on their website. Players who log into the game through the Switch 2 can claim the Ambimanus Pack for free until April 15, 2026.
