Path of Exile 2 Release Date and Time
Released in Early Access on December 6, 2024
Path of Exile 2 was released in early access on December 6, 2024 for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). Its early access release was initially set for November 15, however, the devs announced that they need more time to sort out server side infrastructure work on their end for the game's launch.
"One of the key promises we made is that all your microtransactions will work across both Path of Exile 1 and 2," the studio announced in a community post. "In order to do that, we have to integrate the account systems for not only Path of Exile 1 and 2, but also for the console realms as well."

August | Early Access Launch Date
At Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024, Path of Exile 2's early access launch date was revealed to be November 15, 2024.
October | Early Access Delay
Game Director Jonathan Rogers announced that Path of Exile 2's early access release will be delayed by 3 weeks. Instead of the initial November 15, 2024 release, the game has instead been set to launch in early access on December 6.
December | The Game Awards 2024
A trailer for Path of Exile 2 was shown during TGA 2024, announcing that it is now available on Early Access.
