Releasing Fall 2026
Fable (2026) is now officially set to launch in Fall 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Steam. The game was previously slated to release sometime in 2025, but was delayed due to undisclosed reasons.

Playground Games and Xbox Game Studios shared more information about the upcoming reboot for Fable. They officially announced that it will launch in Fall 2026, and will also release on PlayStation 5, furthering Xbox’s multiplatform initiative.

More gameplay footage of the game was finally shown, but it came with the unfortunate news of the title being delayed to 2026.

Another year later during the Xbox Games showcase in Summer Games Fest 2024, Fable previewed another trailer featuring stnippets of story and gameplay, with still no specific deep dives of either.

After years of silence, Fable was shown during the Xbox Games Showcase in 2023's Summer Games Fest, showcasing new custom characters player can create to take venture into the world of Albion.
