Campaign Early Access

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will come in two different versions: MWIII Cross-gen/Standard and MWIII Vault.
MWIII Cross-gen/Standard Edition
The Cross-gen/Standard Edition costs $69.99. While PC players will be able to purchase the Standard Edition, players on consoles will be able to purchase the Cross-gen Edition, which includes both old and new generations for either Playstation or Xbox. In contrast, you’ll only get the Steam or Battle.net version of the game should you purchase them on those stores, hence the name.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 First Impressions
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 looks to build on the success of the previous MW titles, and continue to integrate new things to one of the most well-known gaming titles in history. While it won’t introduce any major changes to the core elements of the game, which is gunplay and identity, that’s completely fine as the Call of Duty games have been frontrunners when discussing which title is the best realistic modern military themed game. Instead of changing what’s been working for the last two decades, MW3 looks to strengthen the modern military experience by adding in a bunch of new content, including remastered versions of all the 16 maps from the original COD MW2 from 2009, separate brand new maps, minor gameplay changes, a massive weapon pool, and an improved customization feature in the form of the returning Gunsmith feature.
Following the trend of recent COD games, Modern Warfare 3 will be very closely tied with Warzone. The new map for this brand new Warzone era is Urzikstan, a fictional West Asian peninsula featuring a massive urban battlefield with 11 points of interest. MW3 and Warzone will share level EXP, Battle Pass EXP, and gun progression, like in previous games.
For the very first time, a Zombies Mode will be playable in a Modern Warfare game. The Black Ops staple game mode will be different this time around, playing more like an open world survival type of zombie carnage, rather than the typical waves system we’ve come to know.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Story Plot
The story picks up right where MW2 left off, and focuses on Task Force 141’s manhunt for the war criminal Vladimir Makarov, the main antagonist of the original Modern Warfare series. While we don’t have much else information on the Campaign Mode narrative-wise, Activision highlighted that the new Campaign will give players more freedom on how they conduct their operations. There are missions that will offer a linear way on how to get it done, focused more on the story and cinematics, but there will also be Open Combat Missions, which will allow you to plan the operation how you want, prepare for it, and execute accordingly. We can expect the campaign to fit its signature cinematic storytelling style, and feel like we’re part of a fast-paced blockbuster action movie. Whether it’s a good movie or bad is something we’ll have to find out for ourselves.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Gameplay
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 attempts to capture the same massive success off Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019, going back to its roots and mastering the same amazing gunplay that significantly elevated Call of Duty to its current renowned state. Player feedback from the beta tests of COD MW3 indicate that the game is very similar to the 2019 title, with gunplay and movement feeling like the same godly state it was in. That sounds like excellent news as COD MW 2019 has been widely regarded as the best Call of Duty game in recent years, being able to somewhat earn back the player base it lost during its futuristic identity phase.
Other than movement and gunplay, MW3 will feature a vast arsenal of realistic weapons, each fully customizable with different attachments from the returning Gunsmith feature. The minimap and player perks will also be like how they were before, with the minimap showing red dots revealing the position of unsuppressed gunfire. Perks come in a variety of options, like the Sleight of Hand perk, which hastens your reload animations. You’re able to equip 3 perks at a time, and the perks are tied to a piece of gear you’ll need to equip, but won’t affect your character’s appearance.
Overall, we can expect the same iconic COD FPS experience we’ve grown to love.
