Early Purchase Bonus
Purchasing the game, either digitally or physically, before 11:59 P.M. Pacific Time on April 6 will grant players an Early Purchase bonus, dubbed the Exploration Support Package. This contains the following in-game items:

Special Edition
Unlike its mainline counterparts and its Wii U release, Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition did not come with a special edition, and it is unfortunately unlikely that it will receive one after release.

Given that Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition didn't receive any post-launch DLC, it’s likely that Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition will follow suit. However, the game does feature added story elements and quality-of-life improvements not present in the original Wii U release.
