Data from SteamDB revealed that The Finals reached 200,213 concurrent players shortly after its debut at The Game Awards on December 7. The game swiftly made its way as one of the top Steam releases of 2023 based on peak concurrent users.

The game also saw a peak of over 240,000 concurrent players a few days after full launch, as per
SteamDB. In comparison, the playtest beta had a peak concurrent user count of 267,000.

The Finals' Nerfed Movement Speed Disgruntles Players
