Super Mario will have a collaboration campaign in Japan with famed ice cream brand Baskin Robbins starting June 28, 2024 to July 31, 2024. This collaboration is a revival of 2023’s Super Mario x Baskin Robbins campaign and was revived due to its overwhelming popularity. As this year’s team-up coincides with the release of Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Luigi gets a few shout-outs too!

Here's what to expect in Japanese Baskin Robbins stores in the next few days!

Firstly, the collab introduces an all-new, limited edition ice cream flavor called the Superstar -Double Grape-, inspired by the very same Superstar item in the series. The flavor is a lovely blend of grape sorbet, muscat sorbet, and milk ice cream, topped with star-shaped candy. This refreshing ice cream flavor is sure to power you up like it does Mario!

Back by popular demand, the Super Mushroom Cola Float flavor has made its comeback! This wonderful swirl of vanilla ice cream, cola ice cream, and white popping candy will surely leave a fizzy but delicious taste in your mouth.

If you’d like your ice cream in a cup, Baskin Robbins has got you covered! An exclusive Super Mario-themed double cup is available to get into the Mario spirit. It comes in red, yellow, and white. Additionally, when purchasing a double cup, you will also receive a business card-sized mini clear file with a Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD design, one clear file per double cup.

A larger "cup" is there too—the Super Mario Sundae in single scoop and double scoop comes with a variety of toppings such as a chocolate Brick Block, Superstar, Yoshi Egg, or Power Up Mushroom, and sits on top of a plastic replica of the iconic green clay pipe cups scattered throughout the levels of Super Mario, which can then be reused as pen holders.

The adorable Wonder Flower of Super Mario Bros. Wonder makes an appearance in the Wonder Flower Crushed Soda, which is shaved ice with soda in a cute cup with grape-flavored syrup, soda-flavored syrup, popping candy, and ramune mixed in, and finally topped with one small scoop of any Baskin Robbins ice cream of your choice.

You can even surprise your friends and family with the group offerings they have in store, like the eight piece Question Block Ice Cream set! Choose eight flavors to your liking, and enjoy them in lovely little cups with an original Mario-themed design. Not only that, but you even get a question mark block-design picnic sheet, perfect for a summer outing! If you just want the ice cream, you can instead purchase the Super Mario Variety Box, which comes in a four, six, eight, or twelve-piece set.

On the other hand, if you’re up for some ice cream cake goodness, the Super Mario Palette 6 features six slices of scrumptious ice cream cake topped with charming picks of the series’ characters. A Luigi’s Mansion 31 Deco Cake is also on sale, letting you choose six flavors and decorate to your heart’s content with the Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD themed decorations like Luigi’s picks, Boo’s chocolate, apple-flavored sauce, and even glow-in-the-dark stickers!

Last but not the least, if you buy any of the products listed above, make sure to do the "GPS Check-In" function on the My Nintendo App to receive a random die-cut sticker of a power-up item! This can be done once a day. Try to get all four!
