The special collaboration between the esteemed fighting game Street Fighter 6 (SF6) and the modern hit manga/anime Spy x Family has been officially released! In the thrilling video shown above, the long-awaited encounter between Chun-Li and Yor Forger took place, alongside all the event details.
This partnership was announced back in December 2023, where they showed an animated short between their respective franchise’s female powerhouses. The animated short wowed fans of both the manga/anime and the fighting game, gathering viral social media attention from the prospect of Chun-Li and Yor Forger engaging in battle.
Chun-Li vs Yor Forger
The long-anticipated battle between the skilled fighters took place, where a custom create-a-character dons a special Yor Forger skin to take on Chun-Li herself. Yor takes most of her characteristics from SF6’s Juri – stance, mannerisms, moves, and all.
Yor opened aggressively, scoring a surprising win over the legendary Chinese martial artist in the first round. Though Yor had momentum, Chun-Li approached the second round more cautiously and managed to even the scores.
Down to the last round, both fighters gave it their all, drive-rushing at round start, performing extensive combo moves, staggering each other and landing their supers to great effect. As both nearly had their healths depleted, they both struck each other with mighty kicks similar to the end of the first teaser and consequently knocked each other out. The battle between Chun-Li and Yor Forger ends in a tie!
Special Character Skins and Updated Battle Hub, and Login Rewards
As evident from the fight, the special collaboration will involve Yor Forger cosmetics arriving to the game. Her hairstyle, outfit, and face shapes will all become available at the Avatar Creator screen once purchased. Not only that, but her husband Loid Forger will also be fighting alongside (or against) her!
Each costume can be bought from the in-game store for 500 Drive tickets, which are an earnable currency from completing tasks within the game! These unique items will only be available to purchase from January 9 to January 21, 2024! Get them while you still can!
For those who want the avatar specifications, the developers uploaded the avatar recipes for both characters their pre-built custom characters of Yor and Loid, costumes not included.

Throughout the duration of the event, the Online Battle Hub will be adorned with commemorative Spy x Family Code: Operation White decorations and banners to promote the movie.
Lastly, players who log into the game during the event will be able to avail special photo frames, stickers, and player titles! Players can view the “NEWS” section to claim them.
