Stellar Blade Uncensored In All Countries
Twitter Announcement
Stellar Blade announced on Twitter that it will offer the same uncensored version of the game in all countries, including Japan. The announcement was made yesterday and has already garnered the attention of fans. With the demo already a hit, peaking at 690,000 daily active users, it’s safe to say that Stellar Blade will be well-received when it launches on April 26, 2024.
Fan Reception
The announcement has become a crowd pleaser, many fans expressed that they are looking forward to seeing the passion and vision of the developers for what it is. Stellar Blade has already received high praise from fans and other game developers, such as Yoko Taro, the developer of NieR: Automata.
However, this announcement has also sent some fans into a discussion about whether there will be content in the game that even needs censoring. Although rated M by ESRB for Blood and Gore, Language, Suggestive Themes and Violence, few fans are thinking that since the same version will be released in Japan where content censorship is strict, there may not be too much to censor anyway.
