Stellar Blade Teases Horror-Themed Content
Coming "In One Week"

Stellar Blade teases new horror-themed content that is set to be revealed "in one week." In a post on Stellar Blade’s official Twitter (X) account on September 20, developer ShiftUp shared a mysterious image that hints at a horror event, new DLC, or a crossover to another title.
The post only includes a creepy corridor with a caption, "in one week," which left fans of the game curious as to what the developers have in store for the game. While ShiftUp confirmed that they are working on Stellar Blade 2, they also mentioned that they are looking to expand the franchise in other ways; they have yet to disclose any information as to how this may be.
With the game continuing to do well on its recent launch on PC with its "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews on Steam, it’s no surprise that the game will receive new content. Here at Game8, we gave Stellar Blade’s PC version a 90 out of 100 for its visual upgrades, new missions, and fresh outfits, making this version feel like the complete package. Crossover Speculations

While ShiftUp has yet to disclose any information about the teased image, fans speculated on its meaning. Many pointed to a possible crossover with Resident Evil (RE), as the studio recently announced a collaboration with RE that brings Jill Valentine to Nikke, which is also a title developed by ShiftUp.
However, another game that fans associate the image with is the Silent Hill franchise. Stellar Blade’s hint at the post coming in one week coincides with the release of Silent Hill’s latest entry to the series, Silent Hill f, which is set to launch on September 25, 2025.

With Stellar Blade’s teaser depicting a haunting hallway that closely resembles Silent Hill f’s aesthetic, many strongly believe that this points towards a collaboration between Capcom and ShiftUp. Beyond these speculations, others theorize that this may just be a standalone horror DLC or expansion, as Halloween is just around the corner.
Regardless, players are excited that there will be new content for the hit sci-fi RPG over a year since it was first released. Stellar Blade is available on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. To stay up to date with the latest information about the game, check out our article below!
