Shift Up's Latest Investor Board Meeting Reveals Plans for Stellar Blade Sequel
Stellar Blade Listed Alongside GoV: NIKKE and Project Witches
Shift Up, the studio behind Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and 2024’s breakout hit Stellar Blade, has revealed major plans for its top franchises in a recent investor meeting, including a possible Stellar Blade sequel.
In their most recent investor presentation (available to be viewed on their official website), Shift Up revealed its plans for "IP expansion" for the next two years through a simple bar graph. There are no specific details as to what these key points entail. However, notably, under the Stellar Blade portion of the slide are two highlighted points with "Platform Expansion" and "Sequel" denoted on top.

The "Platform Expansion" they are referring to is talking about the game's upcoming launch of the previously revealed PC port that is releasing on June 11th, 2025. As the slide clearly depicts that this is Shift Up's projected timeline up until 2027 only, eager fans may just see Stellar Blade 2 as early as 2026 should things go as planned. While not formally announced yet as of writing, gamers should be able to expect a public reveal sometime after the first game's PC launch.
Stellar Blade is a well-received title since its initial PS5-only release in 2024, receiving several awards and nominations in several events such as the BAFTA Games Awards and The 2024 Game Awards, among others. According to the investors' presentation, the game garnered 68.1 billion KRW (approx. 49.1 million USD) in revenue for the company within a year despite being a completely new IP. Shift Up looks to further its success with a sequel and more continuous updates of "large-scale, high-quality content."
Project Witches Also In The Pipeline
Aside from Stellar Blade's supposed sequel, the developer has also noted a certain "Project Witches" on the slide as well, projected for launch some time between the launch of Stellar Blade 2 and 2027. There hasn't been any official details released about the game aside from it being an "AAA urban sci-fi action RPG" according to an article on Korean news site Yonhap News Agency.
However, with the game being shown on Shift Up's planned timeline up until 2027, players can look forward to more details being revealed later on this year or in 2026.
