Silver Palace Gameplay Trailer Features More Detective Work and New Characters
A Resplendent Silvernia and an Interesting Cast
Silver Palace has released an official gameplay trailer following the conclusion of the [Monotype] Beta Test recruitment period on January 5, 2026. Though a schedule for the Beta Test hasn’t been revealed yet, players now have over 5-minutes of new gameplay footage, including an exclusive look at new designs and skill animations for previously unannounced characters.
The trailer serves as a progress update following the game’s well-received 10-minute extended gameplay showcase in May 2025, signaling continued development and refinement ahead of its upcoming beta. Compared to earlier footage, the game now boasts more polished and detailed visuals that suit its elevated anime style and overall Victorian theme.
The new trailer begins with a slow walk along various locations of the magnificent and enigmatic city of Silvernia. Developer Silver Studio and publisher Elementa show off beautifully rendered scenes of Silvernia’s festive streets, homey cafés, and intricately decorated penthouses and offices.
The trailer also gives us a closer look at both familiar and new characters through clips of them in the overworld, the character selection screen, and in the heat of battle—marking the first appearances of the rugged Lorin, Silvernia’s own Chief Inspector, and an as yet unnamed flame-wielding beauty who is later seen facing off against the Detective in an exhilarating boss battle. Alongside these reveals, the trailer also featured characters from the previous showcase such as the Detective (the Hero), Alf (a.k.a. Maid No. 49), Argos, Cynthia II, and Firtho.
Getting Up Close and Personal with New Characters
The actual gameplay section of the trailer hones in on Silver Palace’s investigation mechanics, which emphasize observation and real-time information gathering—systems that had only been briefly demonstrated on random NPCs in previous promotional material. In a showcased scenario, players are introduced to a brief snippet of a tense first meeting between the Detective and Red Rose, a dancer and self-proclaimed Florian superstar. Shortly after she introduces herself, viewers are treated to how the investigation system allows the players to scan Red Rose from head to toe in real time, stopping from point to point to collect crucial information such as the weapons she keeps hidden on her person.
The combat portion of the trailer places the spotlight on the game’s playable cast beyond the Detective. Here, different characters demonstrated skills and specialties that can cater to a wide variety of playstyles and combat needs, such as Cynthia II’s crowd control abilities and Lorin’s powerful AoE attacks.

While the game’s parry system and perfect dodge mechanics were already revealed in the past, interested players might appreciate seeing more instances of the smooth and stylish combat in play.
Silver Palace is an action-adventure game of mystery and intrigue developed by Silver Studio and published by Elementa. There is no set release date for Silver Palace, but it will be available on PC, Android, and iOS devices. For more information on the game, check out our article below!
