Silent Hill 1 Remake and New Projects in Production

Silent Hill 1 Remake is now in production, along with several other projects, according to developer Bloober Team. In an investor call with Bloober Team via Stockwatch on September 30, President Piotr Babieno and Vice President Karolina Nowak discussed the studio’s current and upcoming projects.
Bloober Team was responsible for developing the successful Silent Hill 2 Remake, which is why fans aren’t surprised that they will continue handling the development of remaking Konami’s iconic horror series. This project was first unveiled during the KONAMI Press Start live broadcast on June 12, 2025, where the remake was announced through a short teaser.

Not much has been revealed about the game, but Bloober confirmed that it is now in production. They stated, "We have two first-party production teams, one of whom [which] is working on the Silent Hill 1 project, and the other has started working on the next project. 5 projects are currently being implemented as part of the second party."
Among these projects is Project N, a game in partnership with Netflix, described by the developers as a "relatively short project." Similar with the Silent Hill 1 Remake, the studio has not shared any details about this project.

The Future for Cronos: The New Dawn
Expanding The IP

Aside from future projects, Bloober Team also shared more about the future of their recently released survival horror title, Cronos: The New Dawn. The game was released on September 5 and received very positive reviews across Steam and other review sites.
Although the developers for Cronos are now working on different projects, Bloober Team said that they plan to revisit the game in the future to explore more ideas with it. They stated, "Cronos is our first big IP. The team that created it has already started working on a new project, but we definitely plan to further develop this IP in the future, within different fields of exploitation. We have high hopes for it."
While the studio has yet to confirm any specific plans for the game, they said that they are "planning a number of marketing activities," which includes something for the coming Halloween season.

With their recent launch of Cronos and other projects in development, Bloober aims to be one of the leaders in the horror genre. They noted, "Our goal is to become a leader in the horror genre, which translates into a strategy of releasing games in increasingly shorter periods between releases. The second party department is supposed to help with this, among others. We are also working on big titles as part of it, so we should not expect a longer downtime between big releases."
Cronos: The New Dawn is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Epic Games. To stay up to date with the latest information about the game, check out our article below.
