Palworld Creators are Getting Death Threats
Pocketpair Manager Speaks Out
Bucky, the Community Manager for Pocketpair’s social media, disclosed on Twitter(X) that they have received death threats since the early access launch of Palworld.
Along with the death threats, Bucky noted that the company received "wildly exaggerated claims" through direct messages and email.
The nature and information of these threats were not disclosed, but Bucky stated that he will reply as soon as he can if the people sending them were "capable of writing like an actual human being."
Pocketpair CEO Responds
In the wake of Palworld's successful launch, Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe addressed the negativity and "slanderous comments" directed at their artists. Posting on Twitter (X), he acknowledged receiving diverse opinions about Palworld and requested that individuals "refrain from slandering the artists involved in Palworld." Mizobe emphasized the game's supervision by multiple individuals and asserted that he is "responsible for the production."
