2.5 Million Copies in 24 Hours as PS5 Exclusive
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 already sold 2.5 million copies in just 24 hours after release, making it the fastest-selling PlayStation Studios game in history. Developed by Insomniac Games in collaboration with PlayStation Studios and Marvel Games, Spider-Man 2 is currently a PS5 exclusive and the third installment in the franchise.
Sony Interactive Entertainment’s SVP for Global Marketing, Sales, and Business Operations, Eric Lampel, is quick to praise the studio for the enormous success of their latest first-party release:
