Releasing Beyond Early 2026
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra has been delayed once again, and is now set to release "beyond early 2026." In a Twitter (X) post on November 7, developer and publisher Skydance Games announced that they had decided to move the game’s launch to "fully realize" their vision for it.
The extension was made for the developers to "meet the level of quality that our team, players, and fans expect." The post continues, "We’re grateful for the passion and support from the community and players around the world. The team is working hard to create something truly special, and we look forward to sharing more with you as development progresses."
First Revealed in March 2024

Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra was first revealed during Game Developers Conference 2025 in an Unreal Engine showcase. It was presented by Skydance New Media Head, Amy Hennig, who was also the Creative Director and Writer of Uncharted 1 to 3.
The game was scheduled to launch sometime in 2025, as revealed by one of its voice actors, and will feature Captain America and Black Panther in the 1940s, forming an uneasy alliance to defeat a common enemy.
The game description on its official website reads, "Fighting alongside Gabriel Jones of the Howling Commandos, and Nanali, a Wakandan spy embedded in Occupied Paris, they must join forces to stop a sinister plot that threatens to turn the havoc of WWII into the ultimate rise of Hydra." Aside from that, there has yet to be more information revealed about the game(?)
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is now set to be released beyond early 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
