Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Anniversary Update
New Game+, Extended Ending, and More
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle developer MachineGames celebrates its 15th anniversary with a free update to the game, adding new features such as NewGame+, an extended ending, and more. The update will go live on October 10, a day after its announcement on Bethesda's official website.
The New Game+ will be available after players have accomplished the main story, and can be accessed by selecting the Game Slot of their completed playthrough. This will carry over players’ unlocked and collected Adventure Books, Adventure Points, local currency, and Medicine Bottles.
Additionally, completing the story in the New Game+ will unlock a new ending sequence after the credits roll.

There will also be a brand-new outfit for Indy, inspired by his jacket-free look in Cairo from the film "Raiders of the Lost Ark." This can be equipped through the Outfit tab in the options menu, except for specific scenes where Indy is wearing a disguise or on special occasions.
According to the developers, this outfit is just the beginning, as they plan to deliver more costumes in the coming months.
Aside from these, the update will also introduce a Voice Language Select feature. Players can select their preferred options from nine voice languages and fourteen text languages.

With all of these new features coming and the recent release of The Order of Giants DLC, Bethesda stated that it is the perfect time to "jump back into the game and experience the story all over again."
Here at Game8, we gave The Order of Giants DLC an 86 out of 100 for its strong storytelling, atmospheric design, and polished gameplay loop, despite having some inefficiencies in combat and puzzle challenges. For more on our thoughts about this DLC, check out our review below.
Power Saving Mode and Bug Fixes

Along with the new content, the Xbox Series X | S release of the game will include a Power Saving mode. This allows the GPU to reduce power when not fully utilized. There is also a manual option that can automatically lower the resolution and limit the frame rate if the controller is idle for a while, instantly returning to normal performance when the controller is moved.
The developers noted that this feature will also be added to other platforms in the future. With the upcoming release of the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X handheld devices, the game will automatically apply the optimal video quality settings.
Furthermore, there will be general adjustments to various parts of the game, as well as bug fixes for specific missions and quests. Several improvements will also be applied to the game’s UI, PC functionality, and localization.

While the game has been out for a little over 10 months, MachineGames and Bethesda continue to deliver more content to this action-adventure title. Fans are hoping to see more inclusions in the future, and possibly a new DLC that further expands Indy’s world.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. It is also slated to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. To stay up to date with the latest information about the game, check out our article below.
