Foalhardy, a Pride-type Anima clad in a blanket convinced it's an Inkicorn, humorously treats jumping over water as a monumental achievement; Bobabirb, an Insatiability-type penguin chef, is seen concocting drinks using a cow-milk-carton-like creature named Mimoo, with Nanafey appearing as a taste-tester; and Cublade, a Regret-type canine Anima with a bone blade on its head, appears alongside a character resembling Honkai: Star Rail’s Blade in his official art and a YouTube Short.

⚫︎ HoYoverse revealed a new Honkai: Nexus Anima giveaway celebrating the character Foalhardy. Players can win one of five $50 USD gift cards or one of 20 random pieces of game merchandise by following and quoting the post with the hashtag #HonkaiNexusAnima and sharing their first impression of Foalhardy. The event runs until September 4, 2025, at 23:59 (UTC+8).

It explains that Nexus was the fundamental connection between all things until it was shattered during an event called the Sundering. The shattered fragments became creatures known as Nexus Anima, and Nexus Battles are now used to resolve conflicts.

Fans suspect this may be the long-speculated Honkai: Nexus Anima—a title recently trademarked by HoYoverse—especially after hints from past job listings address chibi-style anthropomorphic characters.

⚫︎ HoYoverse (miHoYo) filed a trademark for Honkai Nexus Anima with the US Patent and Trademark Office on April 21, hinting at a potential new entry in the Honkai series, possibly the third installment following Honkai Impact 3rd and Honkai: Star Rail. Around the same time, HoYoverse registered multiple social media accounts under the Honkai: Nexus Anima name. Although details remain unconfirmed, job postings suggest it could feature an auto-chess gameplay system.
