Hollow Knight: Silksong Xbox Page Emerges
Dev Team Says It's Real. Official Release Date Still TBA
"Hollow Knight: Silksong has a Microsoft Store page now! \o/" posted Silksong's Marketing & PR Lead Matthew Griffin on Twitter (X) today, April 1st, of all days. Though, technically the 2nd for them in the land down under, as cautiously pointed out by a fan on Reddit.

So, it's not a cruel joke for Xbox heads? While the timing may raise eyebrows, Xbox marketing executive Tao Sila confirmed that the Xbox listing is indeed legitimate, dispelling any notion of it being an April Fools' joke.
The appearance of Silksong's Xbox page set keyboards clacking within the gaming community. "WHAT THE F**K THE APRIL FOOLS JOKE IS THAT BAIT ISNT BAIT?!" one fan exclaimed, understandably. Likewise, the inclusion of an E10+ ESRB rating caught the attention of players. Albeit without concrete release details, the game's Xbox store page indicated it releases as a Game Pass Day One.
Silksong, the sequel to the critically acclaimed Hollow Knight, has been highly anticipated since its announcement and showcase at Xbox Game Showcase June 2022. However, news of a delay last May, confirmed by Griffin, left fans awaiting further updates on the game's progress.
Silksong's official release date is yet to be announced, though with store pages already live on other platforms such as the PS Store, eShop, and Steam, the addition of its Xbox listing points to the game's imminent arrival.
