Hogwarts Legacy takes place long before Harry Potter, following a student with a rare magical ability as they navigate Hogwarts and a growing magical conflict. Read on to about its DLC, alternate editions, how to order it and how much it costs.

Hogwarts Legacy DLC

Hogwarts Legacy has released an update for PC in early 2025, where players now have access to official mod support. This update, while breaking previously existing unofficial mods for pc, will allow players to create clothes, new quests and dungeons.

Despite rumors surrounding a definitive edition of Hogwarts Legacy, which is speculated to include a 10-15 hour story and gameplay DLC, the only officially available DLC for the game is the Hogwarts Dark Arts Pack. The add-ons include:

Hogwarts Legacy Pre-Order

Hogwarts Legacy is now available for purchase on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Nintendo eShop, Steam, and Epic Games Store for $59.99 on older console versions (PS4/Xbox One) and $69.99 on newer console versions (PS5/Xbox Series X|S). The game was available for pre-order starting in November 2022, with the Onyx Hippogriff Mount as the sole pre-order bonus, regardless of which edition was purchased.
