FF14 x Monster Hunter Wilds Collab Starts October 7, 2025
Square Enix is collaborating with Capcom to introduce new content to Final Fantasy XIV in connection with Monster Hunter Wilds. The event, titled Windward Wilds, begins on October 7 alongside Patch 7.35. It centers on a search for the Guardian Arkveld, also known as the White Wraith from Monster Hunter Wilds.
The event features two versions of the duty. The standard version, The Windward Wilds, requires an average item level of 725 to enter. Upon completion, players can unlock The Windward Wilds (Extreme), a more difficult encounter that requires an average item level of 740 and offers exclusive rewards tied specifically to this challenge.
To participate, characters must be at level 100 and have completed the main scenario quest Dawntrail. Event rewards include the following:

⚫︎ Arkveld Weapons
⚫︎ Seikret and Palico Rescue Cart Mounts
⚫︎ Vigorwasp and Baby Seikret Minions
⚫︎ MH Wilds-Themed Outdoor Furnishings**
Final Fantasy 14 Pre-Order
Final Fantasy XIV is a subscription-based MMORPG, meaning that you will need to pay a monthly subscription to be able to log in and play the game. Additionally, players will have to buy the game’s current expansion pack (Dawntrail) to be able to access the game’s new content which is available for purchase for PC (Steam, Square Enix), PlayStation Store, and Xbox Store.
Final Fantasy XIV also has an unlimited time free-trial up to the game’s second expansion Stormblood as well as a level cap for all jobs of up to level 70. Current Expansion — Dawntrail
FFXIV Dawntrail can be purchased for PlayStation, Xbox, PC (Steam, Mac). Take note that you will need the base game to be able to play Dawntrail.
It is important to note that you should purchase the correct version of the expansion depending on the platform listed in your service account or the platform you are playing on.
