Hitman World of Assassination's Agent 47 teaming up with Eminem to assassinate... Slim Shady? Read on to learn more about the said mission.
Hitman World of Assassination x Eminem Runs From December 1 to 31
Team Up with Eminem and Assassinate his Alter Ego, Slim Shady
Hitman World of Assassination’s Agent 47’s next Elusive Target Mission has the "bald" assassin team up with none other than Eminem himself to kill his alter-ego, Slim Shady. The news dropped during the November 2025 Xbox Partner Preview, and yes, it’s as wild as it sounds.
Launching on December 1 and running through December 31, the mission is available for free to both new and existing players. Newcomers can get it via the Starter Pack (essentially the game’s demo), and full-game owners via the Elusive Target system. Players only get one chance to take out Slim Shady, though restarts are allowed until the target is eliminated.
To sweeten the deal, IO Interactive will also launch an Eminem vs Slim Shady Pack on December 1. It’ll be priced at $4.99 and include a new suit for Agent 47, "four items, and home base cosmetics connected to the mission."

This collaboration serves as a transmedia extension of Eminem’s current artistic arc. Just as his 2024 album, The Death of Slim Shady, explored the concept of the rapper killing off his controversial persona to move forward, this mission allows players to physically enact that metaphor. IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak noted in an interview with GamesIndustry.biz that the studio worked closely with Eminem to ensure that the mission references "some specific things [...] that he’s doing from his album some of the old tracks, and it ties into this whole ‘kill Slim Shady’ thing."
Eminem functions as Agent 47’s partner here who briefs him and guides him throughout the mission. The level overflows with Easter eggs for fans. It even appears that players can weaponize "mom’s spaghetti" to assassinate NPCs.
Even with its meta concept, the mission is wildly surreal, as it explores the fractured psyche of the rap legend. According to IO Interactive, from Xbox Wire, the setting is a twisted reimagining of the Hokkaido map, now transformed into "Popsomp Hills Asylum." There, Slim Shady runs a broadcasting studio, "where he delivers erratic live performances to a captive audience of staff and inmates."

This isn’t the first time that Hitman has had celebrity crossovers. Previous Elusive Targets have included names like Bruce Lee, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and even Sean Bean. Similar to these, Slim Shady’s Elusive Target Mission is limited-time only due to, perhaps, licensing agreements with the celebrities or their estates.
Nevertheless, Hitman players have a full month to hunt down Eminem’s evil alter ego, and agents will need to execute their plans perfectly to ensure that when the smoke clears, the real Slim Shady is the only one left standing.
